But, as usual, I completely fell in love with the movie after viewing all of the bonus materials. I could listen to John Huston read the phone book on my headphones and be content all day long. The trailers of old always seemed to just play scenes from the film itself while flashing film reviews over the images. The modern trailers always seem to tell you the whole story, making you hope that you forget what you have seen by the time the movie opens. Concerning Under the Volcano, I think the trailer presents the film pretty accurately. Although, I feel like the art of making a trailer has had it's ups and downs recently. Trailers years ago were so deceptive in their marketing of a film. Today, while some are frustrating in that they unknowingly give away key plot points to the audience, others manage to tease the very nature of film itself.
