I am excitedly awaiting delivery of these blu-rays which I pre-ordered a long time ago - albeit somewhat less excited than I would have been had they been Criterion releases. Your review seems to be in line with concensus opinion in the world of BD criticism. The simple fact is that nothing compares to the Criterion TLC. What a shame that the recent huge batch of titles being sent over to Lionsgate will probably share the same fate.
