Depp Confirmed For Wes Anderson’s Next The Grand Budapest Hotel; Scott Rudin to Produce

Following a rather buzzed about rumor connecting the two parties, we can now confirm that the man known as Johnny Depp will indeed be teaming with director Wes Anderson for his next film. Hell, we even have a title now.

The Grand Budapest Hotel will find Depp starring, Anderson directing, and mega-producer Scott Rudin producing the project, along with what seems to be a who’s who of rumored costars, including the likes of Bill Murray, Jeff Goldblum, Jude Law and even Angela Lansbury.

The film is also penned by Anderson, but other than that, that is basically all we know. Personally, while nothing is really known about the project narrative wise, given how great Anderson’s last film, Moonrise Kingdom was, I fully expect this sucker to be a masterwork. Depp has been on a blockbuster tinge lately, so hopefully this will spark something that we haven’t seen from the legend in years. Fingers crossed.
