English Subtitled Trailer For The Past From Asghar Farhadi Hits

thepastframed

A while ago, a trailer debut for the new film from director Asghar Farhadi (A Separation), and while that beautiful trailer was without subtitles, allowing for us to really understand what was happening on screen, that has officially changed with the film’s set in stone debut at the Cannes 2013 Film Festival.

The trailer is now equipped with English subtitles, and with a cast including the likes of Berenice Bejo and Tahar Rahim, this is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated pictures of this year’s festival.

I myself adore the trailer, and with Farhadi’s last film being an absolute masterwork, this is one I can’t wait to check out. It tells the tale of a man returning to his family, only to see that they have moved on, and with the director returning once again to the world of domestic drama, this is really a film to keep an eye on. The trailer isn’t a particularly new look at the film, but for those interested in the picture, this should help make the wait even more difficult.
