First Clip Arrives For Alexander Payne’s Nebraska

nebraskaframed

Coming off of the top-notch drama that was The Descendants, Alexander Payne is set to return to big screens, this time debuting his new film on the Croisette during this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Bringing his new drama, Nebraska, to the festival, Payne has unfurled a new clip from the film, which itself stars Bruce Dern and Will Forte as a father and son team who has seen the former half hit it big with some lottery picks.

Shot in black and white, the film looks to be really intriguing, and with this clip primarily focusing on the character played by Stacy Keach, the film appears to be far more troubling than the rather standard logline would hint at. Keach plays a brilliant bad guy, and the script here appears on point, so this should be one to keep an eye on as the Cannes Film Festival gets underway in a matter of hours.
