Guillermo Del Toro Visits The Criterion Collection Offices, Causes Mass Jealousy

While examining the supplemental materials for the upcoming Criterion Collection release of Cronos, Guillermo Del Toro was treated to a visit to the freebie shelves.

Yesterday, Criterion uploaded this video to their Facebook page, showing off what sort of Blu-ray taste Del Toro has. Guillermo is immediately drawn to the Blu-ray shelves over the DVDs, and is constantly saying how many of the discs he has already bought.

I love hearing who he refers to as “the master” in this clip. Also, after recently viewing the upcoming Paths Of Glory Blu-ray myself, it’s nice to know that Del Toro is searching for that disc as well. It is an absolutely gorgeous Blu-ray transfer, with an incredible audio track and supplements.

It’s always nice to get a glimpse inside the Criterion offices, whether it’s through a video, or their cryptic Twitter pictures.

I think it’s safe to say that we’re all incredibly jealous of Guillermo Del Toro, but c’mon, he’s earned it.
