Jason Schwartzman Scores New Short Film From ‘I Am Love’ Director Luca Guadagnino

Talk about one hell of a creative team.

Spearheaded by Wes Anderson staple Waris Ahluwalia, The Wall Street Journal has a new short film from director Luca Guadagnino (‘˜I Am Love’), entitled ‘˜Here,’ and I must say, it’s quite a beauty.

Co-written by Tilda Swinton (along with artist Sandro Kopp) and featuring a score from none other than Jason Schwartzman, the piece basically follows our lead, played by model Agyness Deyn, as she makes her way through various Starwood Hotels, including the stunning Equinox Restort in Vermont and Waikiki’s Royal Hawaiian.   In promotion of The Luxury Collection’s Global Explorer, the piece itself isn’t much narratively, but it’s one of the prettier spots we’ve seen in a very long time, and the score is kind of killer.

Overall, one probably won’t get much intellectually out of this piece, but it’s both nice to see Guadagnino getting back behind the camera and even more nice to see it be something this damn pretty.   Check it out below!
