See, this is what is meant when you say an actor is diverse in their acting choices.

As her latest role, in the thriller Stoker, heads out to more and more theaters (it just opened this Friday here in good old West Michigan), actress Mia Wasikowska has lined up yet another, even more intriguing, role.

Ion Cinema reports that she has been cast alongside Juliette Binoche in the upcoming Olivier Assayas film, Sils Maria. The film tells the story of an actress who finds her life at a cross roads when she arrives in the titular Swiss locale. Binoche herself was allegedly Assayas’ inspiration for the Summer Hours actress, so expect yet another interesting drama from one of the best directors around.

As a huge fan of everyone involved here, this is a film I absolutely can’t wait to check out. Wasikowska is a great actress, and one who is only getting better as each film passes. She is among the best of her age bracket, and the idea of seeing her opposite Binoche is thrilling. More on this one as it comes.
