Noah Baumbach’s Frances Ha Gets A New Trailer

francesha

Of all the films that have played the festival circuit near the end of last year or now at the beginning of this year, one film remains to be one of the most intriguing prospects yet.

Noah Baumbach’s latest film, Frances Ha, has been described as possibly the director’s strongest effort to date, and with Greta Gerwig as the film’s lead, it’s easily one of the more talked about indie releases of the last few months.

And now, in anticipation of its theatrical debut via IFC on May 17, a new trailer has arrived that makes the film look as superb as anything the auteur has pumped out at this moment.

The film follows the story of a dancer in New York and was co-written by the team of Baumbach and Gerwig, and if this trailer proves anything, it’s that Baumbach looks to be clicking on all cylinders with this one. Gerwig is as influential a name on the indie scene as Baumbach, so this should prove to be a really interesting team-up behind the project, and with the film being shot in black and white, I truly can’t wait to see what’s in store here.
