Poster And Clip Debut For Jerry Lewis-Starring Max Rose

jerrylewisframed

Another day, another debut of a clip from a hugely anticipated Cannes picture.

This time, it’s the Jerry Lewis-starring Max Rose that gets the spotlight, as both a new clip and a beautiful new poster for the film have arrived.

Starring Lewis, the film follows the story of Max Rose, a pianist who after his wife passes suddenly, discovers a few things about his late wife. Finding solace in relationships built with those around him, he must deal with new details about his late wife, and what that meant for their marriage. Co-starring Claire Bloom, Kerry Bishe and Dean Stockwell, the film is written and directed by Daniel Noah, and if this clip is any hint, it’s going to be an emotional picture.

The poster itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the clip is great if only because it’s a new glimpse at a performance from a returning Jerry Lewis. One of the greatest comedians of his time, it will be intriguing to see what we get out of the actor here, and if this is the first step in what will hopefully be a return to the big screen for Lewis. Check out both below.
