Trailer Arrives For Netflix And David Fincher’s House Of Cards

While networks like HBO are seen as the place filmmakers and showrunners want to make a home if they have a good idea for a serialized television show, Netflix is trying its best to take a bit of stake in that game.

The network has become a revival house, re-sparking shows like Arrested Development and The Killing, and thanks to David Fincher and Kevin Spacey, they’ve got themselves an A-list bit of original programming set to debut relatively soon.

A trailer has arrived for the pair’s upcoming show, House Of Cards, and it’s superb. Starring Spacey, the show follows a Congressman who is hell bent on taking control of everything. Looking at the ‘back halls of greed, sex, love and corruption in modern D.C.,’ Cards is spearheaded by the pair of Spacey and Fincher, and is based on a BBC TV thriller.

With directors like Carl Franklin and James Foley aboard to helm some episodes, this is shaping up to be one hell of a series. Fincher is the perfect type of filmmaker/producer to dig into a subject like this, so hopefully this cast and crew can make this live up to the hype and potential.
