Trailer Arrives For The Second Season Of Lena Dunham’s Girls

What better way to head into a weekend than meeting back up with some old friends?

HBO has released the first trailer for the second, much hyped, season of the Lena Dunham-created-and-starring series Girls, and it’s amazing. The season finds Dunham’s Hanna on the heels of a breakup, and feeling the pressure to get her life going in what she feels is the right direction. Toss in some friends with equally problematic relationship issues, and you have a series that has become one of the most talked about shows on a network that is rife with beloved show after beloved show.

It goes without saying that I am an absolute fan of Dunham and, give or take, her entire body of work. Season one of this show was fantastic despite the occasional dip. While I’d like to see Dunham get back behind the camera for a feature film, a second season of this show is just what the doctor ordered, and I can’t wait to dig back into this world. The show returns January 13.
