Rudie Obias is a screenwriter, podcaster and blogger living in New York City. He is a graduate of Cleveland State University (2003); he was a student of Philosophy, Political Science and (of course) Film. He is also a mediocre musician. On first appearance you'd think Rudie was just another hipster from Williamsburg; well, you'd be wrong, he lives in Bed-Stuy. He has an obsession with v-neck & button down shirts, tote bags, NPR and bars in Brooklyn.
Hey JT, thanks for taking the time to post some feedback for us. I will take all the blame for the sidetracking of the conversations in our podcast. My brain just goes on these little cinematic expeditions, and I take the other guys along with me. I don’t know that we talked about Ninja Turtles for as long as we talked about Pickpocket, but I’ll accept that we talked too long about non-Criterion material. I think we all just love movies too much, that its hard to not want to share these things with our listeners. Thanks for listening, and more importantly, commenting on the blog, its something that I hope more of our listeners will take part in.

Guys, always enjoy the actual review, but editing, editing, editing. This would have been a good 40 minute show. Spending almost as much time on TMNT as you did on Bresson, and giving it more love?! This is called CRITERION cast, not Multiplex Cast with a Criterion Corner… right?

Ryan, still enjoy the show — just saying it could be better. I love crappy movies alongside Criterion myself, so can't blame you. And yeah, it was 18 minutes for Pickpocket, only 10 for TMNT.
