Rialto Unveils New Poster For Restored Hiroshima Mon Amour

Last night, Rialto Pictures unveiled the newly restored print of Alain Resnais’ Hiroshima Mon Amour at the New York Film Festival. On Friday the 17th, they’ll open the film at the Lincoln Center and the Film Forum in New York, and the Laemmle in Los Angeles. To commemorate the release, they hired Keiko Kimura to design a new poster.

Criterion fans will know Kimura’s work from the covers of Mafioso and Diary Of A Chambermaid (both sadly out of print). She also created posters for Rialto’s theatrical tours of Godard’s Masculin Féminin and Louis Malle’s Elevator To The Gallows.
