According to their blog, the artists formerly known as The Auteurs, MUBI, will be teaming with the people at Libertas in Croatia and will be showing 13 short films from the shorts program which will play at the upcoming Libertas Film Festival.
The films featured here will run from June 25 to July 6, and will all be free for the public to see at home.
This festival joins the likes of Sundance and SXSW who have teamed up with other outlets like YouTube to bring festival releases to the public. However, not quite in this quantity. Personally, one of the coolest things about film festivals is their respective shorts programs, which are often the breeding ground for filmmakers looking to make a splash in this industry. With the name of MUBI behind it, this is definitely a must see collection of films.
