Known for the posters for films like The Informant, The Girlfriend Experience and The Social Network, as well as his Criterion Collection artwork for Antichrist, The Thin Red Line, and a cavalcade of others, Neil Kellerhouse is one of the most popular artists around.
Featuring his ever present stark visuals and his linear design, Kellerhouse is the go to guy for those looking for striking promotional material. And his best bud, director Steven Soderbergh, has tapped him to give the world yet another world shatteringly beautiful poster.
Fandango has the first poster for Soderbergh’s upcoming film, Haywire, and it’s gorgeous. The film stars Channing Tatum, Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas, Bill Paxton, Michael Douglas and Michael Angarano, and follows a spy, played by MMA star Gina Carano, who looks to take revenge on those who have double crossed her.
We’ve only seen a few photos from the film, but this poster is definitely something to hold us over. Kellerhouse is a brilliant artist, and this poster is a kick as piece of art proving that very fact. It really gives off this cool vibe that makes me quite intrigued as to what to expect from Soderbergh’s attempt at a spy action/thriller.

In other Haywire news, with Comic-Con in full blast, Relativity has debuted the first trailer for the hotly anticipated film, and I must say, it looks solid. The action here looks really well shot and choreographed, and this cast looks impeccable. Carano as a leaves this writer, and many others, a tad uneasy, but when partnered up with some of today’s best actors and actresses, it remains to be seen just what this MMA figther-turned-thespian can really do. Check out the trailer below, as well as the poster.
What do you think?
