More Hulu Subscription Rumors Surface, Confirmed By Reuters?

It was only a matter of time, but it looks like we can finally put this rumor in the true file.

According to Reuters, two sources have confirmed that Hulu is working on rolling out their services to ‘multiple devices’ in the coming months, such as the iPad and Xbox 360, as well as begin offering a new subscription based service.

As previously thought, the service will only relate to older episodes of series, as new episodes of shows like Glee or the like will continue to be free of charge. Apparently, the subscription will cover Hulu as an entity, not just its applications on these new devices.

Personally, while I wouldn’t necessarily pay for Hulu, if I did watch more TV, and Hulu covered more channels, the subscription would actually be worth it. As we begin to watch more and more television on our computers, I can’t help but think that more and more people will begin to use this instead of shelling out massive fees for cable. It may seem like a stretch now, but I don’t quite think it’s out of the question down the road.

What do you think?
