New Trailer And Clips From David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis Arrive

Can’t a guy just get a haircut these days?

With its debut set for Cannes this year, David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis may very well be the most anticipated entry in that illustrious festival’s slate for this year. Now, we’ve seen a bit from the film in the form of a handful of trailers, but now, not only do we have one more to talk about, but we also have three new brief scenes to watch from the film.

The film stars Robert Pattinson as a man who, while trying to make it across town to get a haircut, ultimately loses his proverbial mind, along with a cavalcade of other things. Personally, I think this movie looks absolutely fantastic. There is a sense of arrogance about what we’ve seen from Pattinson so far that makes me think he’s perfect for the role, and his ease with the script, as seen in the first clip, is really superb. Proclaiming itself as the true first film of our new millennium, it has a lot to live up to here, but hopefully it will do just that.
