Trailer Arrives For Antonio Campos’ Simon Killer

simonkillerframed

If you have been paying attention to our Tumblr page, you should, at this point, be more than familiar with Antonio Campos and his upcoming thriller, Simon Killer.

With gorgeous promotional art and IFC Films as a distributor, we all here seem deeply intrigued by the picture, which follows the titular character as he heads to Paris following a break up, only to find himself trying to hide some deep seeded secrets. Starring Brady Corbet, the film has been one of the most buzzed about independent releases recently, and in anticipation of its spring release, a new trailer has dropped.

The film looks icy, distant and cold, and while that should come with the territory, the film appears to be chock full of style and some of the most beautiful photography around. With Campos coming off of a film like Afterschool, buzz surrounding this picture is at a fever pitch, so expect to keep hearing a lot about this film over the next few months, with its theatrical release coming soon. And who knows. Criterion may be calling. Crazier things have happened.
