Trailer For Stoker Arrives

Well this just launched up everyone’s list of must-see films.

The first trailer for Park Chan-Wook’s thriller Stoker has arrived, and it looks absolutely fantastic. The film stars Mia Wasikowska as a youngster who following the death of her father, I left living with her evil mother and her uncle who is thrust into her life. When she discovers the two having an affair, things hit the proverbial fan, and from the look of things, the film goes off quite an interesting and well made deep end.

Co-starring Nicole Kidman and Matthew Goode, both look absolutely fantastic here, and the trailer itself looks just as great. It carries with it just about every aspect of Chan-Wook’s aesthetic and visual sensibilities, particularly his icy cinematography and even colder performances. Goode in particular looks fantastic here, brooding as all get out, and carrying with him a weight that we haven’t seen from him since Watchmen. Enough talking, just watch this gem and try to wait until March 1 to see this sucker.
