Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel To Bow In 2014

wesandersonframed

While it’s not set in stone, we may have to wait some time for Wes Anderson’s next film.

According to THR, Anderson’s next picture, The Grand Budapest Hotel, is eyeing a 2014 release date. The film stars a massive cast of A-listers including Ralph Fiennes, Bill Murray, Adrien Brody, Edward Norton, Saoirse Ronan, Jeff Goldblum, Willem Dafoe, Tilda Swinton and Jude Law, along with the likes of Owen Wilson, Tilda Swinton and yes, even Jason Schwartzman.

Now, what with this huge cast, one has to imagine that someone like Cannes would be the likeliest and most auspicious debut for Anderson’s film, but with his recent awards run, who knows. Toronto or Venice could be as likely a debut.

As far as the film itself, it follows the story of a concierge at the titular hotel, and will likely use this huge ensemble cast to its advantage. Anderson has been on a roll as of late, so with this cast sounding as great as it is, this is something to definitely keep an eye on, even if it means we have to wait a little while longer than we’d like.
