This past April, Janus Films announced that they would screen the new 4K restoration of Detour at TCM Fest, with a theatrical run this fall. On November 30th, Detour will open at the Film Forum in New York.
From the gutters of Poverty Row came a movie that, perhaps more than any other, epitomizes the dark fatalism at the heart of film noir.
Today they released the poster (thanks Adrian), designed by Jennifer Dionisio (the artist behind a number of recent covers for Arrow Video releases).
Kerr makes her directorial debut with this quietly unsettling family drama led by another astounding performance from Deragh Campbell.
