Your listener feedback was accurate. For some reason your Criterion Cast podcast episdoes are very slow to download EX-PECIALLY if left to do so automatically by iTunes, however, there is a quicker way if you’re impatient:
Go to your DOWNLOADING screen in iTunes. Every 6MB’s or so, STOP and RESTART the download (uisng button on the right). You’ll have the episode in a couple of minutes.
I don’t know the science behind it, but it works!
Same here, I usually check out how are downloads coming and restart the download every time when the downloading freezes. Might take 3-5 times if the podcast is usual lenght of 1,5 hours, less if they’re shorter.
