Monsoon Wedding seemed to get quite a bit of crap when it was announced as a Criterion release and I couldn't figure out why. Perhaps, as I suspected, there are just not enough people that have seen it (or have been tainted by Mira Nair's subsequent films) and have yet to realize how amazing it is. I am glad the three of yous have finally had your eyes opened to the wonder.
Also, if you ever quote me again as using the term “super neato,” you will be hearing from my lawyers. Sure, I said it, but I didn't inhale.
Hey man, if you say it, it's fair game. We can't go putting other words in your mouth.
